Just picked up a pair of Puma v-Kat II GCi Black/White/Gold like in your photo above for $20 last week. So far, I love them. I’ve always liked PUMA shoes though. Needed the new boots for coaching my daughter’s team. Used to play American Football for years and years in Puma cleats. Always lasted the whole season and were always comfortable. Unfortunately, Puma no longer makes American Football shoes but, since I no longer play that game, I suppose it doesn’t much matter.

P.S., there were a few pairs of the Puma boots left for $20 a pair at the store

Hi,
I just wanted to point out, that the small brands, like Joma doesn’t follow the other brands. The problem they don’t have the exposure and you don’t realize.
Example, number 10(asymmetic twist) is for 2006, umbro came out with their shoe in 2007.
Joma Toledo 80( 2006), nike ronaldinho 2007.

Also, Joma was the first brand to introduce colors shoe in the market.

Oh, god, those pink Pumas are awful. Wearing something like that is just asking to get the crap kicked out of you.

I gave in recently and got a pair of white boots because they were practically the only thing I could find in my size. I still covet these, though:

Re: Copas, I do remember when they were “IT” — it was right in the middle of my playing days (early to mid 90s). On my h.s. team, 90% of the people wore Copas, a couple rebellious types wore Puma Kings (i.e., Puma’s version of the Copa), and a few “edgy” kids wore Lanzera/Diadora/Patrick/Lotto (to their regret as those boots lasted about a month).
