Bollocks. Nate is right.

My confusion stemmed from an email I sent to Setanta asking them about the availability of Liverpool TV in North America.

However, after seeing Nate’s response and doing some quick research, it seems that no one has picked up the rights to LTV in North America yet.

The GolTV deal isn’t being continued [see EPL Blog] (I hope tags works on WordPress…)

Funnily enough, I didn’t know that each network could only carry a max of 2 club tv channels. With Setanta already having MUTV and Chelsea TV, Liverpool TV might have to be on FSC.

I’m not 100% sure, but as far as I know, GolTV still owns the North American rights to LiverpoolTV and that weekly highlights show for at least another year, and I don’t think the UK Setanta deal for Liverpool applies on this side of the Atlantic.

Of course, you’ll also have Chelsea TV and the Mancs channel, but life isn’t perfect.

according to the site you can only get the lfc channel by getting the setanta bundle, so it would follow that if you already have the bundle then the lfc channel will be added

I’ve been eyeing DirecTV for awhile now, especially since I can add ESPN Deportes to the channels you already added. My question is, which I haven’t yet researched (I would when I’m serious about subscribing) — Will we get the Liverpool channel through Setanta?

If these are the results we get once we replace Pako, we should have done it earlier.

As for the lack of dish, I originally got DirecTV solely because of NFL Sunday Ticket, but now the triple combo of Fox Soccer Channel, GolTV and Setanta get the bulk of my viewing time. I don’t know what I’d do without them (well I do, I would spend all day trolling myp2p.eu…).

i only saw the second half (stupid me going to breakfast not paying attention to times) and the goals there were brilliant.

note, the sunderland fans busted out YNWA early in the game at shitford and it was fantastic
