Excuse the slight change in programming, but you did know there’s a Women’s World Cup going on right now?
In China? You might have seen the matches on while the sun struggled to rise and you were waiting for your dark master to finish brewing? Ring any bells?
Anyhow, being the powerhouse they are and considering they’ve never finished worse than third, the U.S. Women are obviously one of the favorites to win it all and reclaim the title they won in ‘91 and ‘99.
So, fresh off a 2-2 draw with North Korea, I (actually Fox Sports…) want to present you with an opportunity to get up to speed with the lovely ladies (no, not those lovely blogging ladies) of the United States Women’s National Soccer Team.
Or, as their recent marketing campaign suggested, “The Greatest Team You’ve Never Heard Of”. Unless you’re Jim Mike.
